Bad quality
The rings look lovely in the packet, however as soon as you open them up the silver coating cracks and flakes off.
I use these rings to make resin earrings and the quality is not good enough.
This morning I made one pair of earrings and out of 15 jump rings, only two of them were good enough to use and did not start to crack and flake when opened up.

Plating comes off
I have bought these jump rings many many times over the years, I use them regularly, they are usually fine. But these ones as I twist to open the jump ring, the plating has flaked away.
Maybe it’s just a bad batch, as like I said, it’s the first time I’ve had this problem.

Absolutely fine
The silver jump rings are just the right size for my needs, a medium sized ring that I can't find anywhere else. Jump rings, that is with two twists, are superior to link rings where the gap at the join inclines to let the thread for the beads slip through.

They're a nice thickness and size, also sterdy looking. Takes quite a bit of effort to close them perfectly in line. Haven't used them for long enough to know how easily they come back apart.
