Perfect when you're short of time
I had been asked out for afternoon (a crafternoon) with friends and we all baked a cake to take along. I knew I wouldn't have enough time after the cake had cooled down to ice it as I had other things to do too so bought Betty Crockers Cream cheese style icing the previous day. I was really pleased with it. It was perfect and easy to spread on my carrot cake and there was enough left over to keep in the fridge for some cupcakes. As i made use of the special offer I bought two so have another in my baking cupboard for next time. Well recommended

easy icing option
heat the icing in the microwave as per the instructions to make it easy. Enough to generously cover a cake made with the carrot cake box.

Tastes amazing!
This tastes soooo good. Easily spreads over cakes too! Enough to make a small cake or of course add to the top of cupcakes.

It’s very grainy and way too sweet for cream cheese, more like a vanilla frosting. It would be better to make your own!

I only use Betty Crocker frosting and love the Cream Cheese . It goes perfectly with my homemade Carrot Cake and I'm always on the hunt for it at a good price . Very pleasantly surprised to find it in Hobbycraft . . And at a great price too . Family coming for boxing day so thays going to be centre stage :)

Tasted great. Easy to use
First time trying this. Made a lemon drizzle layer cake and coated it in this. Easy spread and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be buying to keep in the cupboard as an essential item.

It's not for me
Didn't enjoy this as I thought it had a slightly bitter taste. First time using this product but won't buy again. I do know others who enjoy it so obviously a matter of taste, that's why I only deducted one star.
