Hammering fun
Loved this and will be doing more of these nail art kits, my only advice would be to do one bird befor nailing the nails in for the next one, so it stops the thread catching on other nails.

LOVE IT !!
I absolutely love this product !! Such a great time filler and activity, I have mine hung up in my room and it looks amazing ! Great quality tools and lovely textured wood and great quality embroidery thread . I even had some thread left over which was a great stash for bracelet making . Thank you Hobbycraft !

Great craft for kids
My 12 year old daughter did this with 2 friends (a set each) and they were all able to create a great piece of art independently
Initially they didn’t bang the nails in hard enough but once they had the hang of it they did really well

Not for beginners
Nails are too long and flimsy for a novice crafter. The nails need to be shorter or the wood thicker so they can be hammered in further to stop them bending. The picture is lovely but less birds should be offered on template if not experienced

Great project!
Love this project. Wanted to try string art after seeing it on a crafting show on TV. Great to get a kit that is good for adults. Took my time following the instructions and am part way through stringing the birds. Home-working and home-schooling are taking up lots of time, so lovely to have this as a treat to dip in and out of. Would definitely get more of these and will try my own designs too. Fantastic starter kit.
