Gallery frames
30x40cm gallery frames. I have purchased several of these frames over the last couple of years and have been very happy with them. Finding them on offer for half price recently i went slightly "frame crazy" and purchased a further 20! At that price I could afford to indulge a fairly lavish (for me) picture framing frenzy which now incorporates every room in the house! The frames are excellent quality for the price and look really good. Pictures are now easily interchangeable and I love the uniformity of my displays. Hobbycraft's generous deal has made this possible for me, so I highly recommend them and thank the Telford staff for their warm and able assistance!

The good guys
Amazing! I got three frames and one broke. I am not one of those people but a review came through and ask me so I merely mentioned it and boom you guys send another one through. Artistic types wouldn’t properly compliant and I was impressed that it was replaced within one week. Love hobby craft, I believe that they actually care which is not normal you get with a big company. So yer, very happy and glad that you don’t have to kick and scream to get things done. Good company, brilliant review team. I will always come back.

Reduction in quality
I use a lot of these frames for my artwork. I have previously given these frames 5 stars, however these frames have been changed slightly with a reduction in quality. Frame borders look/feel slightly cheaper than previous and the back board feels slightly loose. They have also increased in price. The packaging/protective card corners are smaller/thinner which results in damage when being delivered. Still a good frame for the price, but can definitely notice a difference in quality now.

Replacement frames
I ordered 5 frames, 3 30x40 and 2... 40x50. The 30x40 frame in the middle of the package was smashed. No problem Hobbycraft replaced it immediately and asked me to keep the frame and dispose of glass safely.
I then ordered another 30x40 frame which arrived with one corner not joined properly, there was a gap of about a mm.
No problem Hobbycraft replaced immediately and told me to keep the frame.
The replacement frame has arrived with a gap on one corner of half a mm.
I can't keep asking for replacement frames like this. They are good and replace without question but these are for pictures to go into an exhibition and I havn't got the time .
I want to mention another thing.
The 40x50 frames are advertised as having an A3 sized aperture.
They are not A3 . They are bigger than A3.
I have had to buy new mounts half an inch bigger all round to accommodate my A3 pictures.
When they are perfect these frames are perfect but maybe not the first time.

Quality frames
Superb quality value frames, I’d been search high and low for decent quality frames and these were absolutely perfect. They fairly priced professional looking light weight and easy to fix art work in place. A brilliant buy and cheaper than other well know outlets

Neat and easy frame
I have sold several paintings in these no fuss frames. They are great value so don't add too much to my overheads and I can change the picture really easily if I need to between events. My only criticism is that it just has bendable hangers on the back, which only hang on some types of hooks, rather than a wire or D-ring which is needed for some hanging systems. Also I don't think the mounts are acid free but at this price point you probably aren't expecting that.
