Easy to handle
I bought this because my granddaughter (10) wanted to do some art with coloured glue sticks and in store they had a reasonable range of colours but to be used with a hot melt gun. As she is older now I felt that she could handle hot glue (with supervision). Up until now we have used a cool melt gun which is fine and I will continue to use it with my younger granddaughter (4) but to be honest the hot melt glue is better for gluing art projects because it doesn't cool down so quickly and therefore you can be more accurate and the adhesion is better.

I should Have Purchased a Larger Glue Gun
It works as intended, but wish I would have gotten a larger glue gun as the sticks for this one do not last long. The glue gun often gets clogged up also as when the glue gun is left on in-between applications it melts inside the gun and then can not be removed apart from cutting away. Lastly the cord could be slightly longer as it can be restrictive. Apart from these slight issues the glue gun works as intended.

You get what you pay for
I purchased this as I wanted to see what using a glue gun would be like. For £5 I thought I could not go wrong. It is fine but takes a lot longer to heat up than I anticipated and the glue comes out in clumps and cools down really quickly making it difficult to use to stick down what you want. I am reluctant to leave it on for too long waiting to heat up in case it over heats as it is hot to the touch. I have often ended up resorting back to glue sticks which work just as well. Its a shame really as I really would like to use this to do small scale work and currently this is just not possible.

So good I bought one for my bestie for Christmas!
A great, compact glue gun. Lightweight, easy to load sticks and use. Slight criticism, hence only 4 stars- no indicator to tell you glue is hot, and gun can fall over when resting on prongs, as so lightweight. But very useful. Love it!

Great value for money
Small gun, perfect for card craft and small woodcraft. Works really well, no glue leakage from the nozzle when not in use as I've found with some of my previous glue guns. Highly recommended.
