Only suitable for storage
I returned these as I wanted to use them for bottling fruit. When I was about to wash them, I noticed that they weren’t suitable as you couldn’t put anything over 75degrees in them.

Clear clip-top glass jar 1.5 litre
Really good jar bought to do food preserves e.g made pickled eggs and put in this jar. Rubber seal pretty good no leaks so far and a air tight seal with the metal clip the fact that you can move the lid in a 360 degree angle is even more of a perk as you can have the clip angled to your liking how ever you hold a jar overall good product
Would buy again.

Clear clip-top glass jar 1.5 litre
Thought it was going to be ideal for intended purpose, but there must have been a fault in the glass because it developed a crack and leaked. It was not wrapped in anything when I purchased it - not even tissue paper - so I wonder if this contributed?

Jars do the job well. Be careful if tipping jars upside down when mixing liquid contents as the seals will leak a little. Closure clips could be a little more positive to improve seal efficiency. Otherwise pleased.

Good jar good price
I needed more Kilner type jars for my sloe gin. These were the perfect size and worked well with no leaks when I tipped them up to shake the contents.
Only problem was that they only had 2 in stock!
