Ruined a cake...
I bought these as they looked beautiful and sparkly in the packet. When I got them out I was sorely disappointed as they looked like lumps of jelly. I decided to run with them as I didn’t have any other decorations to use. The cake had been sprayed gold to suit a certain sparkle loving lady's tastes. You can imagine my dismay then, when at room temperature (if not cooler) that these gems melted, running down the sides and taking all the colour with them. They ruined the cake. I was gutted. My only advice? Don’t bother!

A rubbish, waste of money.
These little gems look fantastic in the packets, but what a disappointment. They are really tricky to get out and when you eventually do they start to lose their surface edges that give them the look of precious stones. Once you manage to attach them to your cake icing, which is quite a feat, they look like a small dent with a blob of congealed glue stuck in it.

I would not recommend this product.
Extremely difficult to get out of the packaging and prising them out with a cocktail stick resulted in damage to the edges and ripping of the product. Once on the cake they looked dull and almost like a blob of glue so I actually ended up taking them off and throwing away the whole packet. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Horrible! No sparkle!
These ‘diamantes’ look great in the packet but tear as soon as you try to get them out of the packet! When 1 comes out it stuck to everything but the cake and looks like a blob of jelly absolutely no sparkle! Taste revolting and smell like sweaty feet! Not appetising at all! Binned! Will never buy again and do not recommend.

Disappointed
This product was well packaged and at a reasonable price...I haven’t ever used them before so thought I’d give them a try...was extremely disappointed that they were difficult to get out of the packaging and lost their shape in the process, very sticky and not pleasant to handle...wouldn’t use again sadly.

Impossible to handle
I bought these for a diamond wedding cake order and was really disappointed. They were impossible to remove without damaging or dulling the shine. I even put the pack in the freezer to try and firm them up,but that didn’t help. I was very upset that I had to change the design I had agreed with my client

Perfect for my Breakfast at Tiffany's afternoon tea
I saw these in store (best price I'd seen for this item) and had to have them. I am organising a "Breakfast At Tiffany's themed afternoon tea" for a group of ladies. Managed to get the Turquoise/teal colouring for the icing and silver cake cases I needed all in store and these will be ideal for decorating cakes. I might make some brandy snap bracelets and put one of these "diamonds" on the top of each one! Looking forward to using them. I do love a theme!!
