Half-Term Life Saver!
Bought for my two youngest (3) & (7) to amuse them during a rainy half term holiday. An absolute steal, especially at sale price! Excellent quality, recyclable, no excess packaging as it is made using the box it comes in - So cleverly packed! Easy to put together - surprisingly strong cardboard. My children had hours of fun colouring and playing shops in this. It promoted so much imagination and is the best activity I’ve bought in ages! Just wish we had a bigger house as I would love to buy and make some more! A top buy for any little child who loves to use their imagination! Am looking for a Christmas house next!

Kids enjoyed it
I bought this for my children's birthday party. It did the job and the two/three year olds particularly were in and out of it all day. However it took a longer time than expected to put up (mainly because we lost the instructions!) and it looked a bit tatty after one afternoon's use by preschoolers. The outer packaging forms part of the shop, which means that it is good from a waste point of view but you need to be very careful when transporting it home from the shop. Some of the cardboard is shiny but most is able to be painted or coloured in. Overall, I wouldn't say the item is exceptional value but it was enjoyed by the children.

Amazing
I bought this for my 4yr old son and he LOVES it, it's now a permanent feature in my living room.
It's a little bit tricky to put together at first but once you get the hang of it (and have counted to 5) it's fine (dad had to help)
We loved decorating it, we printed pictures and signs to glue on as well. It was fun colouring in the different fruits and my son was quick to tell me which was which... It's a great learning tool as it's now his shop with a till and food to serve using his imagination, cognitive skills, fine motor skills and counting skills all whilst having fun. Highly recommended!

Great fun for a broad range of kids
I am a childminder and purchased the cardboard shop for the preschool children I look after but ALL the children are enjoying playing in it. A successful purchase that has engaged them all for hours. The older children (8 year olds) enjoyed helping be build the shop, while the younger ones decorated it. The instructions suggest that you can collapse again for storage but it was a little bit fiddly to build so I am just going to leave it standing until the kids destroy it ! I think the price was reasonable and even if it only lasts a few months, I will feel that the kids have got excellent use. I have been able to initiate many different learning games for all ages. A success !

Complicated and annoying buy!
I bought this cardboard play shop at a reduced price and thought it would be fun for my grandchildren aged 2 & 4 to play with whilst babysitting. Big mistake it was a nightmare to build. Impossible instructions which meant the shop took over an hour to erect. Not worth the stress!!!

Hours of fun!
My two children love these colour in play sets. We get them every year for rainy days and they keep them occupied for weeks on end adding more colour and detail each time. The play sets themselves are easy to put together and fairly sturdy once built! Once they are finished the children can use their imagination to play together as shopkeepers, fairies, knights etc. Thank you Hobbycraft for helping me have time to drink a hot cup of coffee, load the laundry and hoover the house. Big thumbs up from me (and the kids!)

Great idea
Bought for daughter 7.. its a good size & she enjoyed painting it.. We put it in the garden on dry days & her & some friends played shops with it for hours so great for garden on summer days.. we kept ours stored in the summer house or shed when weather was wet as not waterproof obviously as it's cardboard but after playing with it for 2 weeks we just left it out to get wet as daughter had def had the money's worth out of it by then.. definitely recommend for kids.. great for them to do on a rainy day in winter as it will pass hours x so buy one to put away for a rainy day x

Great value for money and fun
Brought it for my 3 year old and it was a bargain. She's played with it every day alone or whilst being engaged by someone, either developing her imagination or drawing/decorating it. It took me about 5 mins to put together. As its cardboard I am last concerned about her moving around in it and it falling on her as it's so light. Surprisingly it's a lot stronger then I thought it would be. I'd happily buy more in this range or get it as a gift for someone. If I was still working in a nursery I'd buy it for their too
