Beautiful pens.
I'd seen people talking about these pens on the internet and wondered what was so great about them. So when I decided I needed better skintone pens for colouring, I brought these. And you know what? The hype was right and these pens are magnificent. I'll be back at Hobbycraft later this week to pick up some more!

Coptic Ciao pens
I bought the Copic Ciao markers about a week ago and have had so much fun with them. They colour so beautifully by blending onto the page. They are so easy to use and they always make the picture look incredible as a final piece. I would definitely recommend the Copic Ciao markers for anyone who enjoys drawing whatever the skill level.

Not worth the hype
I bought these as I have heard many good things about Copic markers. However when I tried them they performed averagely at best; I did not like the feel and the colours weren't very pigmented.
Pros:
- Easily blendable
- Ink doesn't go through the paper much
- Not much colour bleed
- Very little smell
Cons:
- Not very pigmented (really have to lay the colour on heavily)
- Colours look washed out
- Feel isn't great; I personally didn't like the brush tip
- Very expensive for what they are
- Overhyped
Personally I will not be buying these again. I know many like the washed out neutral colours look but it's just not for me. I will be sticking with my other markers for now.

Amazing
These pens for all are quite expensive are very good and last quite a while. My daughter uses them for anime and manga drawings. Have used them for almost a year and only replaced one or two.

Creates an even flat wash of colour, that can be built upon, and dries very quickly

The product colours
All the colours are good but some of the lighter ones are harder to see then others if on normal white paper. But that does help with shading I have notice as it's good for highlights
