I bought this lace as I intended to add it to a sampler I was making, to add variety to the textures created by varied embroidery stitches.I decided to place it onto the 14 count blue Aida I was using and with a variety of different stitches,,embroider over/through it to both attach it and morph the lace pattern into the basically flat aida material. The finished item ( a make up bag with a fold over flap & ribbon fastening ) looks almost sculptured rather than 'just' stitched. I will be experimenting more in future. ;-)
