The felt squares are perfect for my embroidery, they are the right size and thickness and inexpensive.
I find that I use the felt squares all the time to create pictures and brooches and they are the perfect medium for my work.

Choosing the perfcet sheet of felt
I buy the majority of my felt from Hobby craft but, i do take time to select each sheet. Some sheets can be very thin and have threadbare sections so, i always hold each sheet up to the light to check this before making my purchase.
I have use Hobbycraft felt for years, and have made a variety of items and projects!

Soft any easy to work with
Really nice felt - very soft and easy to work with. I use it for a base in embroidered brooches and the needle generally slides through with ease. The only thing I have a slight issue with is some patches are slightly thicker than others so it's harder to push the needle through, but it's minimal really.

Okay, but not brilliant
I work a lot with felt and this is not one of my favourites. It does have an even texture but it's too flimsy and looks it.
I would love Hobbycraft to stock the 30% wool felt which is no more expensive. Not all felt users are children!

Great felt
Felt is of brilliant quality and I would purchase again. Bad point is the sticky barcode label causes the felt to fluff up when pulled off, so a less sticky label or no label at all and codes for the staff to type in would be preferable.

Just what I needed
I needed this to back some log slices I had made into a wreath… it met the needs it was bought for … nice and thick but also not too thick it couldn’t be cut. Comes in various colours but I used the cream which was perfect.

Nice Quality but sticker left a mark.
Nice quality felt but unfortunately the bar code sticker was so sticky when you pulled it off it, it stretched a small section of the felt so I couldnt use that part. Too far to take back to Hobby craft and get a refund.
