Bluetooth Cricut connection and thick stock? Use this!
As a fairly new Cricut Maker user I soon discovered the need for the 'knife' tool (different to this deep cut blade) to get through thicker card, and it's certainly very efficient with mat board and the like. BUT... I also discovered that the knife can only be used when connected to the computer by USB cable.
So, when connecting from 'phone or tablet via Bluetooth, this deep cut blade does the job pretty well; especially good with 300gsm stock and Design Space set to 'cereal carton'.
Basically, if you need to cut thicker card stock and are connecting with Bluetooth, you need this tool, and you won't be disappointed :)

Cricut packaging not clear
The cricut packaging and information is not very clear when attempting to purchase blades for the cricut machines.
As well as making it clearer what machine the blades work in, It would be helpful if the packaging mentioned what materials the enclosed blade would cut or at least the thickness they cut so it's easier to select the right blade.

Bought this to cut Mountboard and it does this perfectly.
However the 1st time you buy this blade you need to make sure you buy the housing as well.
After that you can just buy the blades without the housing.
Something that a very friendly and extremely helpful staff member in the Havant branch pointed out.

Having recently purchased a cricut the fine point blade came as standard. Good but found that it would snag on the backwards drag even when on the reccomended materials. I decided then to buy this blade. It works 100× better for the bigger projects and prevents the snag. Fine fiddly projects still need the fine blade.
Highly reccomend buying this in conjunction to the starter kit or if your finding projects snagging on the materials. Its a must have in the arsenal.

Deep cut Cricut blade
I am a cake maker and I do toppers for the cakes. This blade has allowed me to work with glitter and thick card. I will recommend to any one that does any 3D protects. It’s made me enjoy my work so much

Works like a charm
Had bought a cricut air 2 and been having trouble cutting thicker card stock. Turned out I needed the deeper cut blade. Soon as I put it in had no more issues cut perfect for thicker card stock. Was so grateful for help in store as always on hand to help with questions and help solve problems. I even got a 10%discount when mentioned had trouble using first blade. Which was really nice
