Fairly good, but could be stronger
The wire was very useful for my first time making flowers. I think either my flowers were too heavy handed or the wire wasn't sturdy enough as they bent under the weight of the flowers. The ends where the wire was cut also started to unravel, but overall they did the job fairly well!

Good quality
Good quality wires combine strength and flexibility. I mainly use for paper flowers when I need to have white stems rather than green.

Great for light decorations
This was the first time I've ever used this wire and technique, basically I used the wire to create fondant nuts and bolts exploding out of a cake. The fact that the wire is covered in a very thin paper helps sticking the fondant decorations on to the wire along with a little fondant glue and after allowing to dry they were held well in place. The wire gauge was perfect for what I used it for but I think anything heavier would require a higher gauge.

The decorating wires were just what I needed.
I was looking for these as I am planning to decorate the top of my christmas cake this year with some stars made of icing as i have seen it demonstrated and want to copy the idea. Hopefully it will look pretty. I was delighted to find the decorating wires in Hobbycraft and not too expensive. It will make a change from the usual decoration on my cake so I hope it will be a popular choice.

No fraying!
I was sceptical at first when I purchased these as I have some green floral wire which always used to fray when I cut into it but I was wrong about my concerns with these! They are brilliant and they don't fray! I used two pieces of wire to support a handmade sugar paste bunting and they are much stronger than the appear which was a bonus!

Cake wires
Great product sold by hobbycraft saves time and money as I usually have to order online and wait for delivery. But they are perfect for the job I needed them for will definitely buy from there again. I had a last minute order for a cake with wired stars these were perfect for the job and I have some left to use in the future.
