Usual daler rowney quality
When a product is advertised as new quality it means “cheaper less quality” however in this case it is actually a far better product. They have increased the paper weight to 290g/m2. Also the paper is now slightly off-white, making it not so harsh looking.

A very good product.
I mainly use oil paper to paint on these days and this block is good. The paper is good and thick and doesn't "pill" when you paint onto it. I can recommend this.

The Daler Rowney Oil Painting Paper Pad is a good size rectangle, paper quality is firm and its surface has a good key for the use of oil paint.
I chose to buy the Daler Rowney Oil painting pad for its size shape and strength of the paper. In use it has proved to be excellent, holding the oil paint well without any buckling of the paper Very happy with the result.
