Good product, in poor condition
The paper itself is lovely, however it is very poorly handled by Hobbycraft. Most pads are damaged, dented, marked or in otherwise poor condition.

My favourite paper
This is the only paper I use, I have been using it for roughly 4 years now. I create drawings with a 0.05 fineliner and this is perfect for it as it has a thick texture and is good quality, the grain isn't too big. I also use it for prints through an ordinary inkjet printer and haven't come across and issues with it.

this paper is outstanding. You won't find anything finer.
I am regularly sketching large portrait or landscape artwork with pleasure. The delivery as very considerate also as they wrapped the paper in such a way that it was not able to crease.

Great for photography
The pad was on special offer, so it was a double bargain. I use the paper as backing paper when I mount my A3 prints on a 20" x 16" window mount using mounting spray from 3M. The perfect combination of thin paper but strong.

Absolutely the right thing for daughter’s GCSE!
Rushed in on two nights before my daughter’s GCSE exam and this paper was spot on. Good grain and texture plus, just right for her pencil crayon drawing. Thank you Hobbycraft for coming up trumps again!!

A2 pad - great for sketching from the elbow!
Dale Rowney / Fine Grain - Heavyweight pad. 120lb weight, fine grain but with enough bite for water-soluble pencils. Great for all sorts of drawing. Acid Free makes it perfect for professional artists.

It's good to be able to buy a large format sketchbook in a heavy quality paper. Especially good for life drawing which is what I bought it for.
