Unlocking my creativity
I've always known I could be creative if I gave myself permission to try. I now know that this is helped massively by quality materials. So thank you Hobbycraft for being my supplier of choice, playing a key part in me discovering that YES I can paint and get enormous pleasure from it!
This paper is excellent for chalk pastels. It holds the colour and enables me to work with confidence.

great colours and texture
I bought this pad as I do a lot of pet portraits in pastel and I use tint backgrounds to the portraits that compliment the animal images. This pad gives me a number of options but none of them are too strong that they will dominate the portrait.

Great pad with different whites
Derwent Ingress pastel paper is my paper of choice. The coloured pads are great but do not include any white paper. So this particular pad was very welcome when I saw it in store.

Lovely toothy surface for conte crayon.
Beautiful range of subtle creams which don't dominate a picture, but allow the crayon colour to come to the fore, even when used with a subtle light touch. Not cheap!

Quality Pad
Great paper texture for pastel media. Each sheet of paper has a protective sheet of tracing paper, to stop your pastel art work from smudging.
