Product description

Daler Rowney Watercolour NOT Imperial Board will give you the perfect base for your watercolour projects.

All watercolour papers and boards selected by Daler Rowney are made from the highest quality wood pulp and cotton fibres, and they're all acid-free to prevent discoloration over time. The surface texture of watercolour paper plays an integral part in the overall character of the painting and the un-imperial surface of this paper is multi-grain for a variety of watercolour techniques.

The demanding techniques of watercolour painting require high performance papers, specially formulated to accept colour and withstand repeated application of washes. Complete your watercolour work using this professional standard paper sheet allowing you to work to the best of your ability.

Daler Rowney Watercolour NOT Imperial Board 30 x 20 Inches is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product If like me you find stretching watercolour paper to be inconvenient, this is a great product. It has a very good texture for both watercolour and gouache. The fact that the boards come pre-packed in plastic bags also avoids previous issues I've had of boards being damaged in the shop. Okay, this may not be the most environmentally friendly thing but it must save a lot of waste and return of items, which will have their own environmental costs. The only reason I am not giving this five stars is that the paper can lift off the board if you get it really wet and I've had this happen a couple of times near the edges - fortunately not enough to spoil my painting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile uses I don't actually use watercolour board for painting, it's great for drawing, you can really work into the board and use indent tools for greater detail

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Making a platform Great material for making platforms for model railways as it takes acrylics very well and it obviously has many other uses as well
