Very effective
I had previously made a design from a kit which included filament thread to create the effect of water in a vase. I could not find the same thread when I wanted to repeat the design. I bought this to try out and it worked well (single thread, half cross stitch). It is more visible than filament thread but the slight sparkle gave the water effect. I would use it again.

Glitter wool
Used to make tassle keychains with gave a lovely Christmas glitter look along side the green wool I used with it .

More grey than white but ok.
Much easier to use than blending with Maderia metallic thread - doesnt tangle or split as much. However, the sparkly effect is more subtle than Maderia. My only issue is that "Blanc" is more grey than white but looks OK for snow effect.
