Great colour coverage
I dye my vintage ribbons with this dye. If the ribbon is cotton it comes out the colour on the packet, if it is a cotton/polyester mix it comes out lighter. I like that you can use only what you need, you don't have to use the whole packet in one go, as long as the ratio is 10g of dye to 50g of salt in 1,300 mls of warm water.
You can also mix all the dylon hand dye colours to mix other colours as long as you stick to the ratio as above.

Loved It!!
I used it to do a tie dye effect on a white dress along with another one (burlesque) so I didn't follow the instructions given, but it turned out amazingly & was not disappointed.

The colour is stunning and the dye is so easy to use you can make it pastel by adding less dye and it's beautiful! So happy I bought this product and definitely going to buy more!

Easy to use but patchy result
I needed purple jogging bottoms for a World Book Day outfit (Highway Rat) but I couldn’t find any. Instead I dyed a grey pair purple. The dye was quick and easy to use but although the result was good enough for a costume, it was a bit patchy where the dye didn’t take evenly. I would use again though.

Does the job
There's not exactly any competition for dylon in bricks and mortar stores, but it doesn't matter, because the stuff works.
I find the shades come out as expected, and it washes well.
