My go to blocks...
I adore Essdee's softcut printing blocks - they have quickly become my go to blocks for my lino printmaking work.
The softer texture makes the carving process easy and cutting the pieces to size is so smooth, while the blocks lighter colour allows for decent staining and transfer during the printmaking process.
If you're a beginner to the methods of lino printing, I would definitely recommend the softcut linoleum to get you started.

Lino printing made easy
Gone are the school day horrors of Lino printing with that hard crumbling medium. These sheets of ‘soft Lino’ are so easy to carve that you can begin realising your print idea in minutes. The durable surface takes ink well and is great for creating rubbings, or frottage.

Easy to cut and not too expensive
I found this lino quite easy to work with although it can be harder to tell which areas you have cut as it is creamy in colour. Might be better if they made the top layer darker to show you more detail. I would use it again.

I love this lino it is so soft and easy to carve yet keeps its shape well. It's perfect for lino cut printmaking

Great for Lino printing
Just started Lino printing craft.I found this soft Lino is good for working with to create your chosen design and create either a negative or positive art image, ie the object or the silhouette outlines, depending on what your design is.
