Easy use and neat finish
At first attempt I couldn't seem to get it to work at all well (but it was the evening and I didn't want to hammer too hard to wake anyone up). Tried in the daylight - nice hard support surface (used my wooden chopping board so I didn't have to think about protecting my worktops), followed the simple diagram instructions - a couple of good whacks with the hammer and hey presto - easy - the finish is lovely and neat - secure and professional looking - actually very pleased - worked very well for the price!

Instructions not great
When this works it’s great.
But getting the tools on the right side was not clear. Maybe obvious to other people but not me.
The domed sided metal tool goes in the white thing. The other tool goes on the floor surface with the right side down of the fabric with the metal circle with the long bit right side of the fabric poking through the hole to the back.
Then the metal ring goes on and even though the instructions specify a side, I still don’t know which one they mean.
Anyway you place the domed tool down in the centre of the metal rings and whack it a few times with a hammer.
If the circle is wonky and rough then put the domed side on that bit and whack it some more.
I like adding these metal things to items.
The instructions need to be more idiot proof for people like me.

Brass (gold) eyelet starter kit
These eyelets have a good depth to them so they will go through several layers of thick material, like canvas or even webbing. Cutting the holes is the tricky part. The tool provided is fine for thin materials but you will struggle with something thick. I resorted to finishing the holes with sharp fine-pointed scissors and, for webbing, a soldering iron to melt the edges of the hole. Overall a good-quality product but may need experience to use on difficult materials.

Easy to use
eyelet setting kit is fabulous and very easy to use. The different sizes make it easy to make sure it fits exactly to where you want it. Great value for money
