These are the first designated artist colouring pencil that I have tried and I’m not disappointed.
It’s gonna take some time to fully explore the versatility of these pencils, but the composition of the polychromo pencil is wonderful.
They are comfortable, smooth and a pleasure to use. The colours are thick and intense, but also have the ability to deliver light, rapid strokes without the jarring, inconsistency found with average pencils.
The waxy “lead” provides smooth and pleasing action that is a thousand miles away from the grainy scratch of lesser pencils.
A perfect combination of versatility, control and consistency at a reasonable price

Great starter pack
I always wanted to purchase these pencils, I did my research before buying so I actually knew what to expect, but these actually exceeded my expectations. Like I explained once to someone what these pencils are: “these make you draw even if you can’t really draw” :) It’s a great pack to begin with and contains all the basic colours. You can then decide what other colours you actually need and buy them separately from hobbycraft. I’m very happy with the purchase and I’m going to build my collection of these pencils.

Fantastic pencils
I love the quality and how you can get different shades depending on how hard or lightly you press the colours are so vibrant and the range of colours is excellent I would never buy anything else now

These pencils are absolutely wonderful to work with, and i much prefer them to prismacolours as they’re less waxy.
I’ve used faber-castell Pitt pastel pencil for a long time and certainly don’t regret buying theses pencils too! 10/10 would recommend:D

Very crisp colours
I have recently purchased some faber castell polychromos pencils and prior to these I always used a different make. I decided to have a change and I'm very glad I did. They are so nice to use, they are very smooth and they blend really well. So I think I will be sticking to them from now on.

Fab pencils
My Daughter is a GCSE Art Student and she finds this product is really good. They are great for her projects. The colours blend really well and good for layering. You can also buy the same make pencils as individuals -in lots of different colours -from Hobbycraft so you can replace or extend the set.
