Poor quality D,I,Y, snow globe &accessories
Apart from the poor fitting base bung, and apart from the fact NO type of glue whatsoever fixes to the base, apart from the "snow" accessory sold for them FLOATS instead, and apart from the tree accessories sold for snowglobes turns the water blue/ green just before the base ornaments fall off, I'd say 1 out of 10. Altogether a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY........DONT BUY !

Does what it says on the tin but....
This is the second year that I’ve been buying these and last years were much better quality for the same price. The globes were much clearer with minimum marks on the outside and generally much better quality. The rubber stopper on the bottom isn’t great now and nor is the plastic cap. I won’t be buying anymore until Hobbycraft up the quality again.

Good size but impossible to attach figures
The snow globe is a good size. Unfortunately the silicone base makes it impossible to glue anything on to it. I used a hot glue gun with no success at all.
I had to us felt to attach the little figures too and trap this in place between the snow globe and the silicone bung. This solved that problem but then we couldn't fill the snow globe with liquid. The end result is cute but not a true snow globe.

Ok but sticking things down is a problem
These snow globes look good, but I've had real trouble finding glue that will stick the decorations down to the rubber inside. The seal isn't 100% watertight either.

Disappointed
Bought several of these to make snowglobes for craft fairs and presents. However, with the construction of them, things you want to have as the focus (eg trees and characters) don't stick well and come off as soon as you try and put the base in as you need to push on them to get it in right, and the snowglobe isn't watertight so you can't make proper snowglobes. So disappointed when hobbycraft usually provide such good quality products. Won't buy these again!

Good size
This is very good but I had a problem getting the glue to work on the rubber seal. In the end superglue worked. However I might use a sealed wood circle or plastic one to glue my figures to and then glue that onto the seal.

Good item
My only flaw with the Item is the rubber bung on the inside, nothing sticks to it. And obviously the inside items need to stick to something. Tried different glues. Finally got it stuck but still not great.
