Not as expected, but not too bad.
I bought these for my 3-year-olds. After two uses the white coating started to come off. I was disappointed with this as the product states that it can be used over and over, which it can, but I didn't expect this after only two uses. Also, the water comes out of the pens a bit too freely, so the pages were completely saturated and we had to mop up the excess water.
Having said that, the girls still enjoyed using them and they kept them quiet and occupied for a while.

Perfect Present
My Grandaughter was absolutely over the moon with this, she loved it, I had bought her one previousley but she had lost the pen, so we then we used our fingers she enjoyed it, although the pen is far better & makes less mess.

Brilliant for travelling entertainment!
We have 2 of these magic colouring books and they're brilliant for keeping our arts & crafts-mad 3 year old entertained. We take them when we have to go to restaurants etc which lets face it are really boring places for kids! She loves them, they kept her entertained on a recent plane journey too. The fact that they're reusable is genius!

Hours of fun
This was a HUGE hit with my 3.5 year old daughter. She spends hours with it, and it’s especially useful for the early morning if she wakes too early to get up. The white layer does fairly quickly come away a bit so you can see some of the image even when dry, but that hasn’t impaired her enjoyment.

Water Magic Books
I bought two books, one for a 3 year old and one for a 7 year old, as they were going on a mini holiday. The girls were excited and it kept them quiet for quite a while, they now want me to buy them another! The water brush was excellent, as no water went anywhere. Lovely item.

The pen lets too much water through
Was expecting this item to last some time as it was £6 and is advertised as reusable, unfortunately the pen lets out too much water and the page quickly got too wet and ruined. will use with small paint brush and water in future
