Best Colouring/But Not Ever!
Cannot believe how good that idea is - comes with a pen thing that you put water in, let the child then literally scribble all over the paper, then like magic a proper colourful picture appears. It’s just the best. Even better though is the picture slowly disappears so it can be coloured in again! I will definitely be going back into Hobbycraft to buy the other books in the series. It’s such a good idea and because only water goes in the marker pen there’s no danger of this water filled pen causing any problems on anything, because it’s only filled with water!

Good for little ones
My son loves the magic painting books but tends to be a little heavy on the water, leading to colour bleeding on other pages, and finishing the book in one or two sittings.
This one has a special coating that when it dries, reverts back to white. The colours are very vibrant and the pictures appeal to my vehicle loving 18 month old.
The water fillable pen it comes with has a very stiff nib and for toddlers, it's not ideal because the coating can be scratched off if enough pressure is put on it. We use a paintbrush instead for now.

Great fun. Bought as one of a Xmas Eve Box
Pressie for our Grandson.
Grandson, Mama & Mamgu all became Picasso with just the aid of H2O! Ha ha
Dries out for use again the next day

Works well and son loves it
I was a bit unsure when buying this, maybe when the pages dried they would never go back to completely clear like new but they really do and my son loves colouring them over and over again.

Already ruined
My son has had a few water pen books and this is the worst unfortunately. Using the water pen just ruins the paper and I thought it was just him being heavy handed but I tried using it and unless you use the LIGHTEST hand ever which is even hard for me let alone a child - it ruins the paper and then can’t really use the pages anymore. Would expect that kind of quality from a pound shop :-(

So simple it's perfect!
My 6 year old loves this we water colouring book, it's so easy for him to use over and over again, he inthralled with the fact that when he uses the "magic water pen" and looks at it a few hours later he can do it all again. We are both well impressed without the usual mess of felt tips, he can take it anywhere with no hassle. Great wee product for children.

Entertaining and good value for money
Picked this up at Crawley store for my 2 year old, nearly 3, grandson.
He loved it. So easy to use. Kept him amused for a considerable time. He couldn't work out how the pictures appeared. Really good value for money. He had to leave it at Granny's so it will be dry for next time. Love that it's reusable

Great mess free colouring
My toddler loves this magic colouring with water. The pen is a great size for small hands, the pages are sturdy and the pictures clear and colourful. I like that it is a portable size so I often put it in the change back to whip out when she needs distracting/ something to do such as in a cafe.
