Do not buy!
I brought this as I wanted to make my girlfriend a snow globe which I thought would be a super cool personal gift. The glass is sturdy and the base is just okay but here’s what I’ve found the glass came with wavy lines in it and with small scratches as well. The base was badly cut out and not well finished at all! I put the hobby craft fake snow into the glass and after I had glued it all together I was so pleased with it but this didn’t last long because as soon as I shook the globe the glass was scratched by the fake snow inside! Super poor quality glass which yes may be sturdy and thick but scratches so easily!

Does the job but could be better
I have used 2 of these now for displaying paper roses. Issues with them are that the glass often contains air bubbles and waves so you have to go through them to find the best. The other issue is that the glass lid does not sit securely onto the bottom, one slight tilt and it would fall off which means you need to secure with glue or sticky dots at least. I think it’s too expensive for the quality and what it is, that said I can’t find anything much closer on the high street.

Under the Dome
I am an avid collector of curiosities and often want to display them behind glass. These domes are nice and thick, clear glass and have a sturdy wooden base. Highly recommend. These would also be great for making Christmas scenes!

Great for ornament
Brilliant sized glass cover for an ornament. I have been looking for a while for one of these, but most seem to be a little on the tall side, this one however is spot on for the two polymer clay ornaments that I made for a friend. Great quality and the wooden base is great as you can easily paint it to your chosen colour.

Great quality & great price
I have brought several of these bell jars the last few month to use as wedding decorations. They come in various sizes and are really great value. The glass is a good quality but still durable. I can't wait to start adding flowers etc to really bring them to life.
