Great quality thread
I always use gutterman thread, after trying it on a friends recommendation (she is an experienced sewer), It's strong, doesn't fray, and there is an endless choice of colours. It may seem more expensive than other makes of thread but you definately get what you pay for with gutterman.

This is a versatile, thread which can be used for machine sewing and hand stitching such as hand seams, garment repairs and even decorative work.
Gutermann's polyester thread is a high quality, strong, and very smooth thread which gives an even textured finish to machine or hand stitches. Black is a frequently used colour, and availability in a 500 metre reel makes it a good value for money item.

Delivery
This is great thread, but ordered and paid for express delivery, which then didn’t arrive for 4 days. The claim that no-one was available for the parcel is laughable as this is a school building, where the reception is manned 24/7. Unimpressed...

Excellent service
The cottons are of good quality but the service was really good. The member of staff pointed out that I was missing out on an offer and was patient whilst I ran off to grab another cotton reel.

Reliable Thread
I always use Gutermann Thread, very reliable and do not snap. I have found my sewing machine does not work well with other brands, but always works well with Gutermann.
