The best thread I have found
I have used other threads and not been happy. Thankfully, I came across Gutermann threads through the advice of a friend and they are now the only threads I use. Love the colours and the quality of the thread, also I really like that they come in 1000m.
I would highly recommend to everyone who sews or quilts.

Good quality thread, good value!
I am a fan of Gutermann thread, and am so pleased that Hobbycraft stock this brand. It is a good quality universal thread, great for patchwork and piecing, and dressmaking, general repairs, and doesn't fluff up your machine. Recommended.

Essential purchase
Super strong thread in a colour that blends with most fabrics.
Excellent for paper piecing and pretty much anything you want to sew

Ok product
This string is great for lighter sewing, thinner fabrics etc. Unfortunately it isn’t not strong enough and pretty expensive. I personally wouldn’t buy it for any major sewing projects, but it’s good to have for a quick stitch.

Preferred thread for quilting
This is my preferred neutral colour for machine quilting as it works across a range of colours. I was going through the smaller reels very quickly (about a 100m reel per small quilt) so this allows me to buy in bulk.

Good quality of products...nice to purchase in hobby craft and loved to purchase in future everything is available for making craft home decor etc...and the staff working there is so humble and good ..just loved it

Great colour, great quality
This colour is so versatile, blending in so that it's almost invisible, or as a great topstitch. The quality of the cotton is excellent and it runs through the machine like clockwork. Great product!

Universal colour!
Always use this thread, never mucks up and it’s a colour that goes with all colour fabrics! I use it on everything. Used loads on scrub bags and masks and a couple quilts during lockdown. Love it.
