As ever great quality and great service
I needed some strong thread for an upholstery project and I wasn't able to buy any in my home town so it was a trip to Teesside Park to Hobbycraft to purchase my thread. Gutterman threads are top notch anyway but the fact that I had to drive 30 miles to buy a bobbin of cotton says many things. 1 my town doesn't have a Hobbycraft store and thankfully Hobbycraft stock such a great range of products. Of course I only wanted 1 bobbin but they were on special offer... half price... so I had to, nay NEEDED to buy another 4 bobbins of different colours... just in case I needed them... Thank you Hobbycraft. You helped me finish a university module on time and to deadline... and with a really friendly staff member to serve me.

This cotton is the strongest I have ever had
This cotton is the best. It's so strong there is nothing that breaks it. I have. Een using it all the time lately and plan to pick up some more in different colours as I sew a lot and got sick of broken threads.

Very Strong
This is a very strong cotton thread. I was pleasantly surprised by its strength. I had snapped 3 lots of thread when pulling together the bows I was making so I was a bit skeptical when the assistant recommended this thread. But after using it for the first time it is now my stable thread for everything. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because of the pricw.

Gutermann Extra Strong Thread
I have a garden hammock that needed repairing so I was looking for a very strong thread. I had looked in my local shops but weren't impressed with what was on offer. So I tried Hobbycraft and found a thread that has worked a treat. So thank you Hobbycraft for supplying all the things that anyone could think of all types of jobs. Well done.

Very strong thread
I hadn't realised when I bought this how thick and strong the thread was! However I used it for quilting a small child's quilt very effectively, and also to sew in zips on garments for a young adult with special needs. Good to know there is such a strong thread available, you need larger needles due to the diameter of the thread.

Ha ha, did not realise this was extra strong thread until I threaded my machine but it did not matter and the stitching looked nice using it. Would use again. I was making a bag which came up really nicely.

Lovely to sew with and no twisting
This is the best extra strong thread I have used for hand sewing , it glides through the fabric easily and hardly any twisting compared to other similar thread I have used . A++

Extra strong thread
I bought this specifically to stretch embroidery pieces prior to framing. Because you need strong tension I know this thread will not snap on me. Wouldn't use anything else
