An old favourite
I have just binned a whole cone of ( unnamed) white thread which someone had been kind enough to give me. I had thought it would be ok at least for tacking, but it has driven me nuts, knotting , fraying and breaking regularly. I have used gutterman threads for my entire sewing career( a LONG time!) and never regretted it. So, back to the old favourite. Reliable, strong, evenly spun thread that just works! Just need to hint heavily that only gutterman will do for future kind gifts....no more frustration.

Always the best
I have used Gutermans threads for over forty years as they work on any machine and always give great results. I never buy any other thread and the colour range and different threads for other applications are magic.

Smooth and strong thread
I always buy this thread as the colour choices are amazing and it is available in different colours and strengths. The stronger one is really good for craft projects which need threads pulled together instead of sewn.I use the various colours for my felt Christmas decorations and toys which need to not fall apart as they are made for children

The best
This is definitely the best cotton to use on a sewing machine, non fluffy so easy to thread, doesn't unravel and strong so can cope with all materials, after using cheap cotton years ago and constantly have to rethread when it snarls or snaps, wont use anything else now.

Great thread
I see a lot, I make items from clothes for people to keep as a memory. This is my favourite thread to use. It is strong and lasts well along with running smoothly through my machine. It is my go to thread.’

Best Thread
We used this thread for an embroidry machine, we've tried many different ones and this one gives the best finish. It is almost 5 times the cost of a different brand, but is definitely 5 times better!

Sew great
Gutterman thread are a firm favourite of mine for sewing. Very strong, no fluffy bits. Price reflects the quality. Yes you could buy some value stuff but I find that stuff jams my sewing machine.
