Very fiddly
String fell off wooden posts as soon as I took it out of the packet as was only tied on loosely, no holes through the post themselves so slips down easily. Very bright and colourful letters but double sided tape holding each side together around the string wasn't very sticky so they kept opening.
Looked good after a lot of patience!

Not worth the money
The string on this product is too thick for the size of the letters, as are the sticks. The string is not tied neatly around the sticks and the back of the letter cards is half white (it would look much more professional and effective if the paper was folded over completely rather than just half way leaving a half white back).

Just ok
Some of the letters kept coming unstuck, and it was twisted slightly which meant that unless it was laid on a flat surface it was unreadable.
It would be better to supply the letters to be stuck on, rather than stuck on already.

Birthday bunting for birthday cake
This would have had 5 stars, apart from the fact that one of the strings came away and had to be fiddled with to get it back on! Other than that, it's a very sweet idea and was loved by the birthday boy.

Not what I ordered
Unfortunately this item was replaced with a gold banner. As I had bought all blue and silver to decorate my cake the gold is not suitable. The multi coloured banner would have been better.

When I opened the packet , one of the sticks had become detached and all the letters along with the string were tangled up, rendering it unfit for purpose and very disappointing.

Beautiful Banner
Made a cake for my son's forth birthday which included Thomas the Tank engine chuffing under the banner. He said it was the best cake evr - and I think he liked the banner too.

Fun Decoration
This was a really fun little decoration to add to a birthday cake. It was a little jumbled up upon opening the packet but easy to sort and easy to adjust the length of string.
