Lovely for crochet
Using this for a Tunisian crochet cardigan. It’s working up beautifully. The yarn is not splitting and stitch definition is really good.

Very autumnal
Very beautiful shades of green, ochre, red and purple. Definitely reminds me of autumn. Made a lovely hat and scarf set with it. Does have wool content but in no way irritating to the skin.
The colour changes mirror too so the effect is beautiful.

Where a join in middle of ball is a problem!
Generally loved this yarn and the autumn colours - however there was a join in the middle of the ball and the new yarn didn't continue in the colours from where the other yarn ended so it made the knitted garment look odd as the colour changes are uniform throughout so to have a join that didn't continue the colour changes wasn't very good. In the end I had to pull the knitting out and find the correct colour change , then throw away a significant amount of wool. I have used the yarn previously and it's been fine - the problem was the join mid-ball.

Just love it!
This is the third time I’ve knitted a sweater in Hayfield Spirit DK! Think I’m working my way through the colours!!
It’s a super yarn to knit with - the texture of the yarn, the colours, the ease at which it ‘knits up’ results in producing a beautiful garment to be proud of!

Hayfield dk yarn
Second time of buying this yarn and hasn't disappointed me. Its a lovely yarn to crochet with. Smooth, soft, slow colour change. Great for the projects I've used it on. I've made blankets, animigurumi and wind spinners. Recommended.

Has lovely colours and is very soft
This yarn is extremely pretty, I have used it to crochet some hand warmers and they are very soft and very warm, I am looking forward to using it in more of my future projects!

The wool colours are pretty and blend into each-other nicely, the wool also feels very nice and doesn’t unravel very easily like others I’ve gotten. Would get again.
