Does the job perfectly :)
It came to that time of the year where I had to drag my son to buy his school uniform. I would say my son hates it more now he is getting older and I find him huffing about the experience :) However due to his body shape we find ourselves having to go up a size which comes with the agony of the trouser legs being too long. As ever I have to go out and get some hemming tape so that as he grows I will be able to lower the hem, instead of buying another pair of trousers, so again I took a trip to my fave place hobby craft and to my surprise found hemming tape in black. I have only ever come across white so I was chuffed ;) no more white residue stuck to the trouser leg when I remove the hemming tape as he has a growing spurt. Another fabulous purchase :)

Perfect hems
Bought this as couldn't find the wonderweb iron on sticky tape for hemming. This Hobbycraft product is so much better. Fixes hems easily and so far has been ok in the wash.

Easily used - hadn’t used it before. Good job on heavier weight fabric. Not suitable for lightweight fabric

Excellent product
Perfect for adding stability to stretchy or fine fabrics when hemming to prevent stitch distortion. Also good to reinforce the hemline on formal suit trousers. The fact it is adhesive is a real bonus as it lies perfectly flat and won't be distorted or cause creasing when ironed at a later date.

This will be handy for various uses
I have not used this yet. I saw it and thought it would be very handy for turning up hems and I can see that it should be very useful for dressmaking, crafts and other options.

Excellent Finish
This tape is excellent. Easy to use and more secure than the cheaper versions. There was no lifting and i followed the instructions to the letter.
