A useful product, that works well
I had a large amount of stitching for a commission I was doing, which needed unpicking. I urgently needed to get something to help me rescue the piece. I purchased this seam unpicker and it saved the day. Nice and sharp, without snapping the fabric. I would purchase again

Broken when opened.
The size of it is good, and the handle felt comfortable to hold. But when I opened it, part of the metal end had snapped off already, making it unusable and useless to me. It would also be better if it had a real lid, not just a flimsy plastic cover.

Broken before I opened it
I bought this in store but when I took it out at home, the longer point of the seam ripper had snapped off leaving a very sharp edge and making the seam ripper unsafe to use. It felt like it would be comfortable to use but needs a proper lid.

Rips through stitches nicely
This stitch ripper is a must for anyone who sews, we all make mistakes and this is an easy tool to have handy. The soft handle is nice to the touch and the small point is sharp and rips through stitches perfectly.

Works well.
It rips seams just fine but the silly peice of plastic tubing that' s supposed to act as a lid is a waste of time. It wont stay on. Just remember that when your rooting around in your sewing box's.

Hemline seam ripper - Useful little gadget to avoid inadverdant damage to cloth when undoing sewn seams etc. Would be wonderful if tiny discarded thread could be scooped up quickly and magically.
