This product was perfect for a 3D science project
This dry sphere was perfect for my sons science homework! To create a 3D human cell. It was easy to paint, cut and put small stick labelling in to show what the cell was composed of. He also used poms poms and pipe cleaners to create the products inside the cell. I think he will always remember what a human cell is made up of from by doing this project! Thanks hobby craft!

Exactly what I needed
Does exactly what it says on the tin, easily pliable, perfect for my tree displays - cut the balls in half and used each semi-circle as the base for wishing trees made from branches stuck into the foam. This did need a base to give the foam a weighted flat surface to stand on - glued onto a thick wooden disc. Next step, cover base with moss et voila! A tree!

It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it has proved adequate.
There were not that many different dried oasis shapes on display. It would be good to see more variety.

This is great for making my sweet trees
I currently make sweet trees and this product is the best for making them , I tried polyester balls and they are not as good as oasis balls.

Right size and easy to work with
I'm creating a Christmas ball-tree and using this to glue pine cones on it. It is rather slippery so I had to hold the cones a bit longer in the glue than usual. It is holding it's shape and easy to work with. There is a hole created on the bottom which makes my life much easier for this project.

Just right for my project
I needed a sphere to push onto dowel and stand in a pot to make a lollipop tree. This dry foam sphere enabled me to push the lollipops in easily and it held them there. Very pleased with the result.

I went into the Farnborough store to get some bits on a project I’m working on & the staff couldn’t be more helpful very polite and told me about the deals they have I’m in there twice a week I really can’t praise them enough

This was used as part of a science product.
Son needed to make an animal cell model and it was so much easier cutting this into shape than a polystyrene ball and the perfect size. It felt grainy but this was resolved once we spray painted it.
