How to make

Paint the top of the pumpkin with the mid orange paint as shown.

Now tip the paint on so that it drips down the sides.

After the first layer of paint has dried completely, mix equal amounts of yellow and mid orange paint and tip this onto the pumpkin. Try to make it drip down in places where it did not run last time.

Add a yellow layer next and leave to dry. You may need to encourage the paint to drip down using the wrong end of a paint brush.

Do the same again using the dark orange. This layer does not need to go as far down the pumpkin as the others.
