How to make

Cricut Wreath Gift Wrap

Step 1

Wrap your gift in brown paper. Using the Cricut Explore Air, cut a circle with an approximate 5mm border. To do this add two circles to your workboard, overlapping the smaller circle onto the larger one.

Step 2

Select both layers from the menu on the right and select the ‘Slice’ option.

Step 3

Hide sliced image D and C by clicking on the eye symbol on the right-hand side of the screen. You should then be left with a circle that looks like the below.

Step 4

Select ‘go’ from the top toolbar and cut the circle from kraft cardstock.

Step 5

Once cut select your choice of leaves from the Cricut library. Once you have selected your design, open a fresh work board and add on the leaves making them as big, or small, as you like. Then cut out from four different shades of green cardstock.

Step 6

Remove from the cutting mat, and position on top of the kraft card circle. Once happy with the positioning, secure each in place one at a time with a little tacky glue.

Step 1

Wrap your gift in brown paper.

Step 2

Create the base for the wreath from kraft card using a circle cutter. Set the gauge on the cutter to the desired diameter and place onto kraft cardstock. Make one full rotation with the ‘arm’ to cut out your circle. Repeat the same process to create a smaller circle inside this one.

Step 3

Select four different shades of green cardstock from the Papermania Colossal pack, cut into 7cm wide strips before placing the sprig on top. As the pieces are cut, place onto the kraft card wreath base to gauge how many will need to be cut (this will depend on the size of your kraft card base and size of gift).

Step 4

Once you’ve finished cutting all the sprigs begin to position, alternating between the four colours – slightly overlap them to get a fuller design. Secure in place with tacky glue.
