Add a sparkling twist to classic slime with this fun new project! The oozy, stretchy, sparkling version of slime seems like the perfect thing for New Year's Eve.

This is a really easy kids' craft project using our slime activator, so it's a fantastic way to actually get the little ones involved in making. As it's a clear slime, it's perfect for adding in your favourite odd bits of glitter and leftover sequins. It's also great to add different textures and sizes of embellishments to give a truly sensory experiences.

If you'd rather make it in advance, you can pour into jars, label and decorate for beautiful New Year's gifts to play with.

How to make

Step 1

Pour in roughly 150ml of clear glue into a bowl and then slowly stir in the slime activator until you have the slime consistency that you want. I used around 180ml of the slime activator.

For a thick but still gloopy slime, wait until you have mixed in enough activator so that the slime starts to come away from the side of the bowl.

Step 2

Sprinkle in the star confetti and glitter until its New Years Eve worthy!

Step 3

Carefully pour into jars, label and attach to the jar. Thread a pipe cleaner through the tag and then curl with a pencil.

Your slime is now ready!
