Using yarn A and 4mm hook ch30 and ss into first ch to join into the round. Round 1: ch3, 1tr into each ch, ss to top of 3 ch Round 2: As round 1 Round 3: Change to yarn B, ch3, 1tr into each tr, ss to top of 3 ch

Round 4: As round 3 Round 5: Ch3, 3tr, tr2tog, *4tr, tr2tog* repeat to end, ss to top of 3 ch Round 6: As round 3 Round 7: Ch3, 2tr, tr2tog, *3tr, tr2tog* repeat to end, ss to top of 3 ch

Round 8: As round 3 Round 9: Ch3, 1tr, tr2tog, *2tr, tr2tog* repeat to end, ss to top of 3 ch Round 10: As round 3 Round 11: Ch3, tr2tog until 1 tr remains, 1tr, ss to top of 3ch

Round 12 to 15: As round 3 Round 16: Ch3, t2tog until 1 tr remains, 1tr, ss to top of 3 ch Fasten off

Step-5

Making up: Using yarn A and the pom pom maker make a pompom. Sew the pom pom to the top of the hat and secure into place.
