Emily from @make.e

Hi, I’m Emily, I’m a modern crochet designer from East Sussex. I have been crafty all my life, having tried most crafts, I taught myself to crochet about 8 years ago now. It wasn’t until I had my 2 little girls that my crochet skills stepped up and I don’t think I have put my hook down since. My style is forever evolving but I do tend to lean towards Scandi simple design with a boho twist. I am not averse to a pompom or two, and I love to add fringing and tassels whenever the opportunity arises. I like to keep my designs fun and simple, in my mind crochet should be fun from start to finish and wherever I can I like to make my patterns quick to crochet up.

Lindsey from @lottieandalbert

Hello! I’m Lindsey the face behind Lottie & Albert. By day I work as commissioning editor for Mollie Makes magazine, and by night I run Lottie & Albert designing patterns and podcasting about crochet and crafts over on YouTube. I love making modern crochet homewares with lots of texture and colour, and experimenting with unusual and new yarns. You can find me as @lottieandalbert on Instagram, Etsy, Ravelry and YouTube, see you there!

Tiam from @knitsafari

I’m Tiam Safari (of @knitsafari) and I am a London-based yarn hoarder and knitwear and crochet designer. I love to work with all types and weights of fibres, and definitely love any yarn with a sparkle or sheen. I’m a fibre magpie! I’m currently working with a lot of chunky knits, and I am absolutely in love with all the hazy fluffy mohair and faux-mohair yarns available at the moment! I work as a freelance knitwear designer for a variety of global yarn brands, and my work has been featured on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, Elle Belgium and Vogue Australia.

Kim from @nowaycrochet

Hello! My name is Kim and I design and make my own crochet garments for Nowaycrochet. I love using chunky materials and also like to include any vintage yarn I have collected over the years. Cardigans and jumpers are my absolute favourite, and most of my ideas start off with the sleeves. I love using stand-out colour and texture and always enjoy seeing people wear my makes. A few of my garments featured in fashion editorial shoots last year, and I’m really excited to start taking commissions and selling my pieces.
