Project and how-to make instructions by Enfys Cashmore

What could be sweeter for Easter than this dear little rabbit card?! I loved using all the pastel colours to make this card, such a change after the strong colours of Christmas and Valentines! Making it made me look forward to Spring...

How to make

Step 1

Use a die or circular object to draw a 10cm circle onto scrap card. Cut out using a pair of scissors.

Step 2

Use the scrap card as a template and apply Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink to the circle with a blending tool.

Step 3

Stamp the rabbit and fussy-cut out with a sharp pair of scissors.

Top Tip: After you’ve fussy-cut an image, go lightly around the outsider edge with a fine black pen, this helps to cover any minor imperfections in your cutting and gives a professional look

Step 4

Colour the rabbit with your medium of choice – I used just three Promarker pens in Ice Grey 1 & 2, and Dusky Pink.

Step 5

Die-cut the tree in green and blue cardstock. Snip off the birds from the blue die-cut and glue to the green tree.

Step 6

Die cut the word HAPPY in blue and green cardstock. Layer both onto yellow card, offsetting the blue die-cut slightly underneath the green so that there is a small blue border.

Step 7

Assemble your card elements onto a 6 x 6″ white card blank. Use the pastel wooden letters to spell the word EASTER. Add the rabbit to the card with foam pads to create height.
