Knitting and Crochet
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a cute little reindeer adorning your festive projects. This adorable little guy looks great on cards, and would also work well as a gift tag or tree decoration, the die could even be used to create a stamp from foam to print your own handmade gift wrap.

Take an 8 x 8″ white card blank and measure 5cm and 7cm up from the bottom of the card. Open the card blank out and lay it flat on top of a craft mat. Use a craft knife and metal ruler to remove the cardstock between the two pencil lines up, cut up to the central score line of the card blank.
Trim two panels of patterned paper from the Holly Jolly 12 x 12″ paper pack and secure them to the top and bottom panels on the card front. Make sure to cut the patterned paper panels slightly smaller so that when stuck down, there is a small white border showing.
Trim a panel of vellum/tracing paper to 8 x 8″ and secure to the inside oft he card blank with double-sided tape.
Remove the letters to spell out ‘Christmas’ from the chunky sticker sheet, add a small amount of tacky glue to the top and bottom of each letter and secure centrally over the aperture. Add the remainder of the greeting, using white wooden letters from the Holly Jolly Wooden Alphabet set and tacky glue. Leave to dry.
While the greeting is drying, die cut the reindeer from white and kraft brown cardstock. Secure the kraft die-cut on top of the white using a glue pen. Use pink and black cardstock off-cuts to die cut the deer’s eye and inner ear sections. Paper-piece these into the design using a glue pen.
Thread a small length of twine through a silver jingle bell and carefully tie around the neck of the deer, tie in a bow and trim away any of the excess thread.
Secure the die-cut deer to the card front using foam pads, we’ve stuck ours to the top of the chunky sticker sentiment, however it could go anywhere.
