Trim an 8 x 8 inch white card blank down to 18cm square. Cover the front of the card with a sheet of patterned paper cut to size, followed by a vellum. Trim the vellum 2cm higher than the height of the card, so that it can be secured on the inside of the card.
Cut a sheet of white card to 17cm square and mark a 1cm border on the back with a pencil. Remove the central aperture using a craft knife and metal ruler. Repeat the same process but with a sheet of soft, pale pink card also trimmed to card to 17cm square with a 5mm border. Position the pink frame on top of the white, and secure in place with a glue stick.
From white card, die cut both the bride and accompanying sentiment. Glue the sentiment in place on the top left hand corner of the layered frame.
Die cut the bride again, this time using the same soft pale pink card as the frame created in step two. Cover a spare piece of white card with glue, and stick the white die-cut bride on top. Working quickly, replace all of the negative pink inner sections into the bride’s dress to paper-piece the image together. Trim around the edge of the design to remove the excess cardstock. Glue a thin strip of clear acetate onto the back of the bride using tacky glue.
Cut six lengths of invisible thread at least 9 inches long. Attach silver gems to the thread by trapping two gems, back to back, in between it.
Turn the frame over and position the bride centrally face down. Secure into place with a little tacky glue, trimming the acetate protruding past the frame. Fix the strands of gems in place so they randomly cover the window area. Bend the thread ends to stick onto the tape neatly.
Add foam pads to the back of the frame, removing the adhesive backing paper before securing centrally to the card blank.
