Cut out the parts for body and wings, and cut out wadding (batting) for the wings from the pattern.

Put the parts right sides together, put the wadding (batting) beneath the wings and sew around. Make a reversing opening through one of the layers of fabric on the wings, see Figure A.
Turn the wings and body right side out, stuff the body and iron the wings. You do not have to close the reversing openings.
Glue the wings to under the body with the reversing openings against each other, see Figure B.
