Once you have completed your embroidery, you can turn it into a wall hanging using the embroidery hoop or alternatively this would make a pretty cushion design. To make the wall hanging, ensure your fabric is tight in the hoop, snip the fabric close to the hoop, leaving about a 1cm allowance. Using a glue gun stitch the remaining fabric to the back of the hoop. As an optional extra you can add a piece of felt to the back, this will give the wall hanging a clean finish, perfect for giving as a gift. Finally add a piece of embroidery thread for your hoop to hang.
