I really like the texture and feel of this yarn when knitting my cardigan. The colour blending is wonderful with easy knit on the needles and gives my cardigan the right look I was aiming for.

Great wool to knit a baby garment !!
Delighted with my recent purchase of James C Brett’s ‘Stonewash’ double knitting yarn !! A lovely soft feel , particularly for the baby cardigan I’ve now made ..soft and the colour combinations were all so good , it was initially difficult to choose between them .. I’m looking forward to working my way through more of the shade combinations !!
This current one looks so good knitted up !! Furthermore, a very economical buy too !!

Goes a very, very long way
My Godson and his wife are shortly to have their first baby, but as they elected not to know the gender, this particular colourway covers all bases! Not only that but the yarn is great to work with, and the yardage is amazing - I will get a gilet for newborn to 3 months, and a hat from just the one 100g ball. Excellent value for money - oh yes, and it looks great too!

Gorgeous mix of colours. Beautiful texture.
I made a crochet puff stitch beanie hat. I will definitely be purchasing this yarn again and wish that I had bought more of the same batch at the time of purchase. I was immediately attracted to the yarn when I saw the colour mix and touched the yarn. Paid a little more than usual for the 100g ball but worth every penny. Will be buying more.

Unfortunately 2 short of same dye but concerned help from lady at payment till who found a good match, almost perfect, that I can discreetly mix in!
Looking forward to starting when I will be laid apart for a while after an operation due next week but could be delayed if I haven’t recovered from present flu !!!

All Knitters take note!
I purchased 2 100 gm DK James Brett stonewash wool to knit a sleeveless top. Very pleased with the result - the wool is comfortable to use and soft to the touch. Hobbycraft provide a wonderful selection of wool and the staff are helpful and welcoming. From a very satisfied customer.

Good blended colours
Good choice of soft colours that blend well together. No 'stripey' effect that you can get with bolder colours. Thickness of yarn can vary which you notice as you are knitting, but overall it's a nice yarn.

This knitting yarn is lovely to knit with.
I have made six baby cardigans in three different shades of this James C Brett knitting yarn. The yarn is soft, smooth and really lovely to work with. The cardigans all look beautiful and are so soft the mothers are very pleased and I will recommend this yarn to my knitting colleagues.
