Too many issues with the neckline
After getting the adjustment for the row 5 cable area that other reviewers pointed out.. I got all the way down the back and the front and when getting to the front shore left neckline area, it’s wrong. The number of stitches they tell you to cast off etc doesn’t leave you with the number it says. I’ve checked and tropes checked and it’s wrong and now I’m frustrated be upset I’ve spent hours doing this and it not working out now.
I’ve emailed hobbycraft let’s hope they update but I wanted to get this finished today. So upset.
I’m working on the small size and that’s definitely wrong. Don’t know about the other sizes.

Saddle shoulders
I enjoyed knitting the front and back sections of this pattern which were easy to follow and look lovely. However I found the sleeve instructions difficult to follow as I have never come across ‘saddle shoulders’ before despite knitting for many years. I definitely prefer ‘normal’ inset or raglan sleeves and would not have bought this pattern if the photograph had shown the shoulder design more clearly.

Really lovely pattern with amazing results
This is a stunning jumper. The pattern is easy for an accomplished knitter - the saddle back shoulder detail does take a fair bit of concentration and I had to read the making up instructions several times (a picture of the top of the back would have helped no end) but I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I have just returned from Hobbycraft with a different colour wool to make another one đŸ˜€. A shout out for the W I wool used here too - it's gorgeous, knits very well without pulling, splitting or pilling.

Misprinted pattern
Very nice pattern but row 5 of the cable pattern was wrong. It took me 3 tries to establish that the instructions were wrong (and not me).

Great yarn, shame about the pattern!!!
I'm a very experienced knitter but I found this pattern extremely difficult to follow!
So much so that I eventually gave up, and am now using the yarn with a pattern of my own invention!

Saddle shoulder too difficult
This is a very difficult pattern. The saddle shoulder is impossible to work out. A number of members of my knit and natter group have looked at it and can't work it out either. Will have to reinvent the pattern so I can finish it. Very dissapoint.
