Cotton yarn for summer
Sugar’n Cream from Hobbycraft was my choice for a summer scarf. With this yarn I am on my way to achieving my first successful project since learning to learn to crochet. It is great to see and feel the yarns available with Hobbycraft and what super choice too. This a beautiful yarn to work with and the choice of colours was lovely too. I am making my lace scarf in the yellow and look forward to wearing it when the weather improves. I will certainly be back in to Hobbycraft soon to contemplate my next project with another colour from this range.

Washcloth
I loved the lemon colour of the cotton. I made a knitted wash cloth (square)and with the leftover yarn crocheted reusable make up wipes, of two inch circles.
I used the denim cotton in the same range, making similar items. Both sets were for birthday presents wrapped up with a natural bar of soap.

A reliable favourite
I love this yarn, I always pick up a couple of skeins whenever I see it. The yellow shade is perfection, so sunny and cheerful. I love making dish cloths and face cloths using a good cotton yarn and I’m sure this is the best. I would highly recommend this.

good colour and price
This was just the right colour for the crochet lion that i wanted but unfortunately I found that the yarn was not that easy to work with as it was very easy to split and not as soft as I would have liked.

Just what i needed.
I bought this yarn & the Jute cour for knitting a baby toy. The colours are perfect for a giraffe & being 100% cotton it will be a baby friendly, washable toy.
