Try this for a new effect in fluid acrylic pouring
I started using this gloss medium and varnish a few months ago in fluid acrylic pouring. I use it as an alternative to Liquitex's Pouring Medium. The effect is very different, not as many cells come up, but you get a marbled resin effect and after drying paintings have a nice glossy finish to them. This medium is ever-so-slightly thicker than Pouring Medium, but it mixes well with acrylic paint. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to try something different with acrylic pouring.

Fantastic results with this product
I bought Liquitex gloss medium from your store to use as a varnish on my acrylic pour paintings. I added a little water to this varnish as the consistency was quite thick and then brushed it onto my paintings using a foam brush. The results were really lovely. It produced a glossy and clear finish without too many noticeable brush marks. I found two coats of this varnish produced the best results.

Great stuff
Gives canvases and tiles a great finish but once a drop hits your skin you are in for a rough time. I developed a rash that itches like mad and takes a while to go. So didn’t use it for a week. Did some varnishing last night and accidentally dropped a bit on my arm. Same thing happened so that’s why I know that this product really needs careful handling. Will need to cover up from now on.

Seal was broken
Great for Acrylic pouring except that when I got home I noticed the seal was broken and that meant the mixture was lumpy.
I then had to Seive the mixture and waste quite a lot which is a shame as its expensive.

easy to use
we used it to seal artwork on 12 banquet tables. 3 coats gave a perfect durable finish for the tables to be used during 2 recent events with more to come. Easier to use than those with high volatiles, virtually low odour and faster drying time.

Dutch pouring magic!
I have recently embarked on Dutch pouring...
I watched various tutorials with different suggestions for using various makes of medium.
I ried them all and by far Liquidtex comes out on top for great results. Highly recommend

Liquitex gloss medium
This clear gloss medium is not a brilliant gloss but more of a medium gloss. Even after a wet sand and polish it's not very shiny. But it's not too bad for the money i suppose. I'll just have to find a 2pac gloss clear coat in future. It's fine for normal artwork but not very good if you want to use it as a clear coat for models.
