I've wanted a magnetic pin-dish for a little while, but always forgot about them as I have a pincushion. However, I saw this when I was browsing and had to buy it! It's a lovely weight and holds lots of pins (without the lid on). Beware of trying to squish the lid on if you have lots of pins on the magnet, they'll get bent. Awesome for if you drop your pins too as you can just sweep the magnet over the area and ta-da, no more lost pins. Also great for scooping up pins that you've lay on your machine as you're sewing.
Absolutely fab product and a great price.

Great purchase
I was looking for a pin cushion for my multicoloured pins. I found this,and guess what? Didn't want to spend a lot of money on sewing gadgets as you might have seen the choice of sewing accessories is amazing. The reason why I have decided to purches this product is. 1. Price.2.product design.3.general use plus the plastic cover which will protect you pin from the dust. Does what it says
This magnetic pin holder "does what it says on the box". It is very effective at keeping the pins in place. My only criticism is that it was very stiff to open the first time and when I succeed I dropped it and the blue plastic casing broke. I have fixed it with super glue but it dosen't look as good.

Useful Pin Tray
I bought the pin tray to prevent pins being dropped on the floor and endangering the cat. It is good but I found a problem with removing the lid. There are also only a very few pins included with the tray. I think therefore, that it is a bit overpriced for a plastic tray with a magnet underneath.

Perfect
This is ideal for pins keeps them all together without loosing any on the floor, the extra length of the pins is also perfect when using the sewing machine as it keeps the material in place

Brilliant gadget
I love this magnetic pin catcher. You just need to put pin near the slot on the top without looking at it and the pin is sucked down to the magnet securely. It sits on the bed of sewing machine so you can remove and make safe pins as you are sewing along. Pins themselves are nice and long and lie nice and flat against material. Thoroughly well designed.

Wish I got one sooner! Love it!
For many years I've always used a pin cushion when sewing and always found it a hassle. Seeing the magnetic pin dish in store for a great price I couldn't resist and decided to give it a go. I love it! So much easier to have by my side when sewing as I can just throw the pin at the dish. Also very handy if you drop any pins on the floor :-)

Love it
I already had one of these (different brand) that I use for pins and find it really useful. I bought this because of the added feature of a lid with a slot in it...I use this for storing my needles.....during a sewing session I always manage to loose at least two needles and they are now attracted to my new magnetic holder.
